Insitu Furniture was established by furniture designer Jonathan Macmillan in 1985. Since that time he has developed a close working relationship with major manufacturers like Ligne Roset from France, Varier and Stressless from Norway, Collins & Hayes from the UK, Fama from Spain, Rom from Belgium, Connubia from Italy as well as many other leading designers who produce contemporary furniture with quality and style.
After graduating as a furniture designer he joined Indesign furniture in Chester, with hard work and determination Jon took over managing the business. He then moved to Worcester with a plan to open his own shop. Insitu opened in 1985 and is now a strong and reputable business. Jonathan enjoys the variety of the job which includes travelling around Europe meeting manufacturers and sourcing unique furniture and accessories.
Nadine (Manager) Joined Insitu in 2003 having achieved a BA (Hons) in Textile Design. She has a real passion for colour, pattern and design and therefore enjoys nothing more than assisting customers with their choice of furniture, focusing on enhancing their home with the right covering and colour to compliment their existing decor. Nadine is a creative person and used to make and sell her own greeting cards prior to joining Insitu and starting a family. She lives with her partner and two young boys in Worcester.
Joined in 2008 he loves to help and advise clients on the right piece of furniture for their home. He enjoys working with the team at Insitu and says it's a great place to work and the people are all supportive of each other. He thrives on the challenges of working in a competitive market place. In his spare time Dan enjoys outdoor pursuits especially hill walking, his other passion is music.
Roger joined in 2008 and he is responsible for getting the deliveries planned and out to the customer on time, he loves his job and enjoys travelling around the county and meeting many different people. Having lived in Worcester all his life he certainly knows his way around. Roger has many interests but his real love is gardening, he also enjoys astronomy, geology, music and motor racing, watching not driving.
Joined in 2003 so along with Nadine has been with the business for many years. When she joined she was responsible for the accounts but now has had the training and gained the expertise to be fully involved with the customers on the sales floor. Debbie really enjoys this part of her job and she loves co-ordinating the displays in the shop and matching different things together. Debbie has two teenage sons and a passion for our four legged friends, she lives in Pershore with one of her sons, two cats and her dog.
